The University of Limerick has been named in Times Higher Education’s top 200 most international universities. This was based upon the diversity of both it’s students and staff body and its success in international research collaborations.
The award in conjunction with the University being awarded 262,150 euro for two erasmus and International Credit Mobility Projects. An editor at Times Higher Education said, ” An institution’s global outlook is one of the key markers of a prestigious university. The top institutions hire faculty from all over the world, attract students from a global market of top talent and collaborate with leading departments wherever they happen to be based.” Professor Paul McCutcheon, VP of UL said,” I expect to see UL’s ranking climb higher in the coming years”.
