The locally backed development of Troy Studios, a film and TV studio to be developed in Castletroy will go ahead in 2016 it has been reported. The official planning permission has been granted for the exciting new studio to be built by Ardmore Studios.

The development is tipped to attract many more films to be filmed in the mid west region for years to come.
