Troy Studios, the Ardmore Studios led Film and TV Production Studio announced to be built at the former Dell Factory in Castletroy in Limerick has progressed a number of planning stages. Carr Associates Architects have prepared a report on the development for Ardmore Studios Castletroy. This report which notes that essential changes to the space in order to facilitate a usage change from factory to film studio. Limerick City and Council have planned an 8 stage process for the planned usage changes. The report will be brought in front of the City and County Council, on Thursday November 12th. More detailed planning applications will be analysed at a later date.
The film studio is due to create 500 jobs in Limerick over time
and to place Limerick as a premier destination for film production in Ireland.
